Eligibility and Account:

1.2. Younger artists must have an adult sign up on their behalf.
1.3. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information.
1.4. Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and keep it current.
Ownership and Rights:
2.1. Artists retain 100% ownership of their music.
2.2. Unbound Music does not claim any intellectual property rights over users' content.
2.3. By using our service, you grant Unbound Music a non-exclusive, worldwide license to distribute your content.
Distribution:
3.1. Unbound Music distributes to over 30 service providers globally, including major platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
3.2. Distribution is non-exclusive; artists may use other distributors simultaneously.
3.3. Unbound Music reserves the right to add or remove distribution partners without prior notice.
Content Integrity:
4.1. Users must only upload content they have 100% rights to.
4.2. Artificial streaming or any form of streaming fraud is strictly prohibited.
4.3. Unbound Music reserves the right to remove manipulated content and may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in such activities.
4.4. Users are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
Cover Songs and Remixes:
5.1. Users must obtain all necessary licenses for cover songs and remixes before distribution.
5.2. This includes mechanical licenses and sync rights where applicable.
5.3. Unbound Music may request proof of proper licensing at any time.
5.4. Failure to provide licensing proof may result in content removal or account suspension.
YouTube Content ID:
6.1. Users may opt-in for YouTube Content ID, subject to strict eligibility criteria.
6.2. Content must be 100% original and not contain any third-party material.
6.3. Users agree not to allow remixes or use of their Content ID-enabled tracks by other artists.
6.4. Violations of Content ID rules may result in account suspension and potential legal liabilities.
Release Modifications:
7.1. Certain release details (e.g., cover image, title, artist roles) can be modified post-distribution.
7.2. Changes to track order, count, UPCs/ISRCs, or significant audio alterations require a takedown and re-upload of the release.
7.3. Users are responsible for any consequences resulting from post-distribution modifications.
Takedowns and Disputes:
8.1. Unbound Music processes DMCA takedowns for copyright infringement.
8.2. Users may submit counterclaims for disputed takedowns.
8.3. For infringements on other platforms, users should contact those services directly.
8.4. Repeated copyright infringements may result in account termination.
Distribution Speed and Availability:
9.1. The turnaround time can vary from store to store. We recommend submitting your album at least 2 weeks prior to your intended release date.
9.2. This gives enough time for us to ingest and deliver your tracks, and for the services to also ingest, index, and display them on their own sites.
9.3. We will advise you from your catalogue page if your release has been delivered to stores, but this does not mean the store itself has been able to get the tracks live on their site (which is out of our control).
9.4. Scheduled release dates will be honored where possible.
9.5. Unbound Music is not responsible for delays caused by distribution partners.
Prohibited Content:
10.1. DJ mixes or remixes with uncleared samples are not allowed.
10.2. Content promoting hate speech, violence, or illegal activities is prohibited.
10.3. Violation may result in account termination and removal of all associated releases.
Free Distribution:
11.1. Users cannot set their music as free on paid platforms.
11.2. Alternative methods for free distribution (e.g., Bandcamp, direct sharing) are suggested for promotional purposes.
11.3. Users are responsible for understanding the implications of free distribution on their royalties.
Platform Compliance:
12.1. Users must adhere to individual platform guidelines (e.g., Apple Music/iTunes requirements for artwork and metadata).
12.2. Failure to comply may result in rejection or removal of content from specific platforms.
12.3. Users are responsible for staying informed about platform-specific requirements.
Account Termination:
13.1. Unbound Music reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.
13.2. Engagement in fraudulent activities or repeated copyright infringements may lead to immediate account termination.
13.3. Upon termination, all user content may be removed from distribution platforms.
Liability:
14.1. Users are responsible for any legal or financial liabilities arising from violations of these terms.
14.2. This includes improper use of copyrighted material or breach of licensing agreements.
14.3. Unbound Music is not liable for any losses incurred due to account termination or content removal.
Royalties and Payments:
15.1. Unbound Music provides free distribution.
15.2. Users retain 100% of their royalties.
15.3. Payment schedules and minimum payout thresholds may apply.
15.4. Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information.
Content Removal:
16.1. Users can request content removal at any time.
16.2. Removal may impact streaming counts and playlist inclusions.
16.3. Unbound Music will process removal requests in a timely manner, subject to platform-specific timelines.
Updates to Terms:
17.1. Unbound Music may update these terms periodically.
17.2. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notifications.
17.3. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of any changes.
Support and Communication:
18.1. Users agree to maintain accurate contact information.
18.2. Users must respond promptly to any inquiries or notifications from Unbound Music regarding their account or content.
18.3. Support is provided via designated channels, and response times may vary.
Data Privacy and Security:
19.1. Unbound Music collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
19.2. Users consent to the collection and use of their data for service improvement and analytics.
19.3. Unbound Music implements industry-standard security measures to protect user data.
Dispute Resolution:
20.1. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through arbitration.
20.2. The governing law and jurisdiction for disputes will be [INDIA].
20.3. Users waive their right to participate in class action lawsuits against Unbound Music.
Promotional Services:
1. Grant of Permission:
1.1. By selecting this option, you, the rights holder, hereby grant Unbound Music the non-exclusive right to modify your soundtrack for promotional purposes.
1.2. This permission extends to the creation of derivative works as specified in the following sections.
2. Authorized Modifications:
2.1. Slowed and Reverb Version: Unbound Music may create a version of your track with reduced tempo and added reverb effects.
2.2. Sped and Reverb Version: Unbound Music may create a version of your track with increased tempo and added reverb effects.
2.3. Original Version: The unmodified, original version of your track will always be released alongside any modified versions.
3. Naming Conventions:
3.1. Original Mix: The unmodified version of your track will be labeled as "Original Mix."
3.2. Slowed and Reverb Mix: The slowed version with added reverb will be labeled as "Slowed and Reverb Mix."
3.3. Sped and Reverb Mix: The sped-up version with added reverb will be labeled as "Sped and Reverb Mix."
4. Modification Feasibility:
4.1. Unbound Music reserves the right to assess whether your music is suitable for the specified modifications.
4.2. The determination of suitability will be based on technical feasibility and artistic integrity.
4.3. You acknowledge that not all tracks may be suitable for these modifications.
5. Limited Release Clause:
5.1. In the event that your music is deemed unsuitable for the specified modifications, Unbound Music will proceed with releasing only the original version.
5.2. Unbound Music will notify you if only the original version will be released.
6. Rights and Ownership:
6.1. You retain all original copyrights to your music.
6.2. Unbound Music's right to create and distribute modified versions is limited to the scope of this agreement.
7. Quality Control:
7.1. Unbound Music commits to maintaining the artistic integrity of your work in all modifications.
7.2. You have the right to review and approve the modified versions before their release.
8. Distribution and Promotion:
8.1. You authorize Unbound Music to distribute and promote all approved versions (original and modified) through their platforms and partners.
9. Term and Termination:
9.1. This permission remains in effect until explicitly revoked by you or terminated by mutual agreement.
9.2. Termination will not affect any versions already released or in production at the time of termination.
